28 Use of old birth certificate to deceive
(1) A person commits an offence if—
(a) the person produces a birth certificate to someone else that
shows a person’s sex before the record was altered; and
(b) the person produces the certificate with intent to deceive.
(2) It is not a defence to a prosecution for an offence against this section
that the document in relation to which the prosecution is brought
refers to the defendant.

(a) a copy of a birth certificate; and
(b) an extract from a birth certificate.
