16A Registration of parentage order
(1) If the registrar-general receives a sealed copy of a parentage order
made under the Parentage Act 2004, section 28H, or a corresponding
parentage law, the registrar-general must register the order.
(2) The registrar-general must keep an index of registered parentage
orders.
(3) The registrar-general must bring this division to the notice of anyone
providing information to the registrar-general about the birth of a
child about whom a parentage order has been made.
