#### 32H Effect of alteration of record etc 32H Effect of alteration of record etc > > (1) A person whose record of sex is altered under this part is, for the purposes of a law of this State, a person of the sex stated in the altered record. > > > (2) A person for whom a registration of an acknowledgement of sex is recorded under this part is, for the purposes of a law of this State, a person of the sex stated in the record. > > > (3) A person for whom a recognition certificate is in force is, for the purposes of a law of this State, a person of the sex stated in the recognition certificate. > > > (4) This section is subject to any other Act. > > Note— > > Nothing in this part changes access to toilets, change rooms, sport or allocation in correctional facilities, women’s refuges or any other place. > > **s 32H:** Ins 1996 No 22, Sch 2 (4).
