22A Child conceived using a donated gamete
> > (1) A birth registration statement for a child may include a declaration that the child was conceived using a donated gamete and in such a case the Registrar must note in the Register that the statement included that declaration.
>
> > (2) The Registrar must, when issuing a birth certificate to a person who is 18 years of age or more and to whom a declaration under subsection (1) relates, attach an addendum to the birth certificate noting that declaration and stating that further information may be available from the central register established under the [Assisted Reproductive Technology Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-069).

> > (3) A birth certificate for a person must not include any information that indicates that the person may be a person who was conceived using a donated gamete.
