> > (1) A biosecurity zone, to be known as the POMS biosecurity zone, is established for each of the following estuaries (including any directly connected estuary)—

> > > (a) Georges River and Botany Bay,

> > > (b) Hawkesbury River,

> > > (c) Brisbane Water.

> > (2) The POMS biosecurity zone is established to manage the biosecurity risk of Ostreid herpesvirus– 1µ variant—OsHV–1 µvar (OSHV1) that causes Pacific Oyster Mortality Syndrome (POMS).
