#### 15 Footrot carriers—sheep and goats 15 Footrot carriers—sheep and goats > > (1) A person must not vaccinate, or attempt to vaccinate, a sheep or a goat against footrot unless approved to do so by the Chief Veterinary Officer. > > > (2) A person must not import a sheep or a goat into the State. > > Note 1. > > See Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 2 of the [Biosecurity Order (Permitted Activities) 2019](https://legislation.nsw.gov.au/information/asi/mining-and-primary-industries/biosecurity-permitted-activities), which sets out exceptions to this clause. > > Note 2. > > The presence of Footrot in sheep or goats is required to be notified under Division 2. > > **cl 15:** Am 2019 (604), Sch 2\[3\].
