#### 112 Offences with respect to labels 112 Offences with respect to labels > > (1) A person, who is required by or under the Act to label or identify any matter, must ensure that the label or identifier is a complying label or complying identifier. > > > > Maximum penalty—$11,000. > > > (2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, do anything that causes a label or identifier referred to in subclause (1) to no longer be a complying label or complying identifier. > > > > Maximum penalty—$11,000. > > > (3) A label or identifier is a complying label or complying identifier if— > > > > > (a) the label or identifier is attached securely in a position that is clearly visible, and > > > > > (b) any information on the label or identifier is readily identifiable.
