40 Offence—permanent identifier not to be improperly used (1) A person must not attach a permanent identifier to identifiable stock if— (a) the identifier has previously been attached to other stock; or (b) attaching the identifier would result in the stock not being properly identified; or (c) for electronically identified stock—the stock is already properly identified.
