84 Regulations may deal with transitional and other matters (1) The Governor‑General may make regulations prescribing matters that: (a) are required or permitted by this Schedule to be prescribed by the regulations; or (b) are of a transitional nature (including prescribing any saving or application provisions) relating to: (i) the amendments or repeals made by this Act; or (ii) the enactment of this Act or the Biosecurity Act 2015. (2) Without limiting subitem (1), regulations made for the purpose of that subitem may provide that provisions of the Biosecurity Act 2015, or this Schedule, are taken to be modified as prescribed by the regulations. Those provisions then have effect as if they were so modified.
