49 Co‑regulatory approvals suspended or revoked before commencement day (1) This item applies in relation to an approval under section 46A of the Quarantine Act if: (a) the approval had been suspended before the commencement day; or (b) a notice of suspension or revocation of the approval had been given, under subsection 46A(10) of the Quarantine Act, before the commencement day to the person who applied for the approval, but the suspension or revocation had not taken effect before that day. (2) The approval is taken to have been revoked immediately before the commencement day. Note: The holder of the approval may apply under section 405 of the Biosecurity Act for approval of a proposed arrangement to carry out activities to manage biosecurity risks associated with specified goods, premises or other things.
