7 Manner and time for giving ballast water discharge report
(1) For the purposes of paragraph 267(2)(b) of the Act, a ballast water discharge report: (a) must be given in writing and may be given electronically; and (b) must be given to the Director of Biosecurity.
Note: The report must be in a form or forms approved by the Director of Biosecurity (see paragraph 267(2)(d) of the Act).
(2) For the purposes of paragraph 267(2)(c) of the Act, a ballast water discharge report must be given: (a) at least 12 hours before the discharge to which the report relates is intended to occur; or (b) if it is not possible to comply with paragraph (a)—at the time specified by a biosecurity official.
