156 Offences—fail to comply with biosecurity direction (1) A person must comply with a biosecurity direction. negligently fails to comply with a biosecurity direction. (4) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against this section if the defendant proves they had a reasonable excuse for failing to comply with the direction. s (4) (see Criminal Code, s 59).
