304  Directions about movement of vessel—variation or revocation  (1) The Director of Biosecurity may vary or revoke a direction given under subsection 303(2). Note 1: See section 306 for the manner in which a direction may be varied or revoked. Note 2: A decision to refuse to vary or revoke a direction under this subsection is a reviewable decision (see Part 1 of Chapter 11).  (2) The Director of Biosecurity may make it a prerequisite for the variation or revocation of a direction given to the person in charge of a vessel under paragraph 303(2)(b) or (d) that the owner of the vessel provide a security that:  (a) is in a form acceptable to the Director; and  (b) is an amount that, in the Director’s opinion, is equivalent to the maximum amount of all penalties, other amounts of money, costs and expenses that could be payable by the person in charge and the owner of the vessel in respect of each offence that was a basis for giving the direction.
