28 Freedom of interstate trade, commerce and intercourse A power or function conferred by this Act must not be exercised or performed in such a way as to contravene: (a) section 92 of the Constitution (trade and commerce among the States to be free); or (b) section 69 of the Australian Capital Territory (Self‑Government) Act 1988; or (c) section 49 of the Northern Territory (Self‑Government) Act 1978.
