277  Exception—approved discharge to ballast water reception facility  (a) the ballast water is discharged to a ballast water reception facility:  (i) in accordance with an approval given by the Director of Biosecurity under section 278; or  (ii) that has been provided, or approved, in accordance with IMO guidelines; and  (b) the ballast water is treated or disposed of at the facility in accordance with the approval.
