50 Continuation of existing Trust agreements etc
> > (1) A Trust agreement in force under the [Nature Conservation Trust Act 2001](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2001-010) immediately before the repeal of that Act continues to have effect in accordance with its terms as if that Act had not been repealed. The Biodiversity Conservation Trust is taken to be a party to any such Trust agreement in place of the Nature Conservation Trust.

> > (2) The Biodiversity Conservation Trust may enter into a Trust agreement under the [Nature Conservation Trust Act 2001](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2001-010) (as if that Act had not been repealed) if the Trust is satisfied that the proposed agreement was in preparation on the repeal of that Act.
>
> > (3) For the purposes of this clause—
> >
> > > (a) the [Nature Conservation Trust Act 2001](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2001-010) (other than sections 34(1)(b) and (2) and 35) continues to apply to and in respect of a Trust agreement to which this clause applies as if that Act had not been repealed and as if references to the Nature Conservation Trust were references to the Biodiversity Conservation Trust, and

> > > (b) section 5.23 of the new Act applies to and in respect of the variation or termination of a Trust agreement to which this clause applies.
