#### 80 Rights of banker as regards stale cheques (1) In the absence of any agreement between the banker and the drawer of the cheque or of any direction of the drawer of the cheque to the contrary, a banker may refuse payment of a stale cheque. (2) A stale cheque is a cheque which appears on the face of it to have been in circulation for more than twelve months.
