sec.26 Amounts for totalisator bets

For section 24 (2) (a) , the amount is the total of all Queensland revenue from totalisator pools that the betting operator received during the period. For section 24 (3) (a) , the amount is the total of any amounts paid by the betting operator during the period, as an additional dividend to the dividend payable out of a totalisator pool, to a person who made a Queensland totalisator bet with the betting operator. In this section— Queensland revenue , from a totalisator pool, for a betting operator, means the amount worked out using the formula— where— QB means the total amount of the Queensland totalisator bets made with the betting operator in the totalisator pool, net of any refunds. QR means the Queensland revenue from the totalisator pool for the betting operator. TB means the total amount of totalisator bets in the totalisator pool, net of any refunds.
