Tasmania act
Mechanically, the Act abolishes the Ben Lomond Skifield Management Authority by repealing its Act and regulations, vests the Authority’s assets, rights, contracts, leases and liabilities in the Crown, and preserves existing leases, contracts and legal proceedings by treating them as if with the Crown. It assigns administration to the Minister for Tourism, Arts and the Environment until an Administrative Arrangements order is made. Affected parties include tenants, contractors, creditors, staff and anyone engaged with the Authority; compliance and liability shift from the Authority to the Crown.
