sch.2-sec Burials on private land
Burials on private land
(1) Must only be on land in the following zones—
(a) Zone RU1,
(b) Zone RU2,
(c) Zone C3.
(2) Must not have more than 4 deceased persons buried on the land.
(3) Must comply with the standards specified in Council Policy—Burials on Private Land, as published by the Council on 8 October 2025.
Note—
Must comply with the Public Health Regulation 2022, Part 8 and the relevant guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
