General Reserve for Credit Losses
- If a General Reserve for Credit Losses has not already resulted in a charge to profit or loss (e.g. by way of establishment of a general reserve or provision in audited published financial accounts), a General Reserve for Credit Losses reported for capital purposes must be matched by a corresponding reduction in an ADI’s Tier 1 capital.
