#### 8 Notification of bail acknowledgment and compliance with bail conditions 8 Notification of bail acknowledgment and compliance with bail conditions > > (1) This section applies if— > > > > > (a) an accused person is in custody as a consequence of a bail decision, and > > > > > (b) the person subsequently gives a bail acknowledgment, and > > > > > (c) all bail conditions are complied with so that the person may be released from custody in relation to the offence. > > > (2) The bail authority that accepts the bail acknowledgment from the accused person must immediately notify the general manager of the correctional centre at which the accused person is detained that— > > > > > (a) the accused person has signed the bail acknowledgment, and > > > > > (b) bail conditions have been complied with.
