#### 38 Giving of notice of informal objection to confirmation of forfeiture order 38 Giving of notice of informal objection to confirmation of forfeiture order > > (1) The way in which a court must give notice of an objection required by the Act, Schedule 2, clause 8 to the appropriate State authority is by written notice sent to the authority. > > > (2) If a representative of the appropriate State authority is appearing before the court when the objection is made, notice of the objection may instead be given to the authority by oral statement to the representative. > > > (3) The notice or statement must— > > > > > (a) if a date has been fixed for the hearing of the objection—indicate the date, and > > > > > (b) include particulars of the objection.
