#### 13 Facilities to be provided by police if accused person not released 13 Facilities to be provided by police if accused person not released > > (1) The facilities required by the Act, section 46(2) to be made available to an accused person in police custody who is refused bail or not released on bail by a police officer are as follows— > > > > > (a) facilities for an accused person to wash, shower or bathe, > > > > > (b) facilities for an accused person to change clothing. > > > (2) Nothing in this section requires a police officer to provide clothing for an accused person unless— > > > > > (a) the clothing is brought to the police station at which the person is in custody, whether by a member of the accused person’s family or by some other person, and > > > > > (b) the person who brings the clothing consents to the clothing being searched.
