9 Contravention, &c., of condition of bail order to be offence

[Section 9 Amended by No. 65 of 2007, s. 7, Applied:01 Jan 2008] A person who has been admitted to bail and who, without reasonable cause, contravenes the requirements specified in section 7 (2) or any condition of an order for bail that has effect after the release of that person from custody is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or both.
