57 Act to prevail
(1) Except if otherwise expressly provided by this Act, this Act applies
in relation to the grant of bail to accused people to the exclusion of
any other law in force immediately before the commencement of this
Act so far as any other such law makes provision for or in relation to
bail for accused people.
(2) This Act does not affect the Bill of Rights 1688 1 Will and Mary
sess 2 c 2.
57AA Abolition of inherent power of bail
Any inherent power of the Supreme Court to grant bail is abolished.
