50Contempt

50 Contempt (1) Nothing in this Act affects a power or duty that a court, tribunal or person has to grant bail, or to grant relief in the nature of bail, in connection with a contempt or alleged contempt. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a contempt or alleged contempt that constitutes an offence proceedings for which may be commenced by way of information or complaint. (3) A power or duty to which subsection (1) applies is additional to a power or duty that a court, tribunal or person may have under this Act in relation to any contempt or alleged contempt.
