33BTypes of landside event zones

#### 33B Types of landside event zones (1) The regulations may prescribe different types of landside event zones. (2) The purposes for which different types of landside event zones may be prescribed include, but are not limited to, the following: (a) managing different types of events within landside areas; (b) controlling the movement of people, vehicles and goods within landside areas; (c) restricting access to landside event zones within landside areas; (d) providing cleared zones; (e) preventing interference with aircraft (including unattended aircraft); (f) ensuring the security of the following: (i) air traffic control facilities; (ii) fuel storage areas; (iii) general aviation areas; (iv) cargo and baggage handling facilities; (v) navigational aids; (vi) fire stations and other emergency service facilities; (vii) critical facilities and critical structures.
