This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument designates over 300 Burmese individuals—senior military leaders, government ministers, business associates, and family members—as targets of Australia’s autonomous sanctions on Burma. It freezes any Australian assets they hold, bars their entry or transit through Australia, and prohibits Australians from providing financial services or dealing with them, aiming to pressure the military regime by cutting off funds and travel.
