##### 55 Matching Commonwealth payments
(1) The Commonwealth is required to pay to the Organisation in respect of a financial year an amount not exceeding one‑half of the total of amounts paid out of the Fund during that year for purposes referred to in paragraph 56(1)(a).
(2) The sum of the amounts paid to the Organisation under subsection (1) must not exceed the total of the amounts paid to the Organisation under section 49 and subsections 52(2) and (4).
(2A) The amount paid to the Organisation under subsection (1) in respect of a financial year must not exceed 0.5% of the total amount that the Minister determines to be the gross value of shorn wool produced in Australia in the financial year.
(3) An amount paid under this section is to be paid into the Fund.
(4) The regulations may prescribe the manner in which the Minister is to determine the gross value of shorn wool produced in Australia in a financial year.
