20 Office of Director
(1) There shall be a Director of the Australian War Memorial, who shall be appointed by the Governor‑General. (2) The Director is the chief executive officer of the Memorial and shall, subject to and in accordance with the general directions of the Council, manage the affairs of the Memorial.
