This Act may be cited as the Australian Trade Commission (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 1985. Commencement 2. (1) Subject to sub-sections (2) and (3), this Act shall come into operation on the commencing day. (2) Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 19, 32 and 61 shall come into operation on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. (3) The amendment made by section 34 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20 May 1985. Expressions defined in Australian Trade Commission Act 1985 3. Except as otherwise provided, expressions used in this Act have the same meaning as they have for the purposes of the Australian Trade Commission Act 1985.
