68Minister may give directions

#### 68 Minister may give directions (1) The Minister may give to the Agency written directions as to the performance of its functions and the exercise of its powers. (2) The Minister must, before giving a direction: (a) inform the Agency, in writing, that the Minister is considering giving the direction; and (b) give the Chairperson a reasonable opportunity to discuss the proposed direction with the Minister. (3) The Agency must comply with the directions. (4) The Minister must cause a copy of each direction given under subsection (1): (a) to be published in the Gazette as soon as practicable after giving the direction; and (b) to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after giving the direction.
