#### 221 Protection of members etc. (1) The Chairperson or a member has, in the performance of his or her functions or the exercise of his or her powers as the Chairperson or a member in relation to a hearing, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court. (2) A barrister, solicitor or other person appearing on behalf of a person at a hearing has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court. (3) Subject to this Law, a person summoned to attend or appearing as a witness at a hearing has the same protection as a witness in proceedings in the High Court.
