#### 12B Application of Part 3 (1) If this Part is being applied as a law of a State, it has no effect in relation to an investigation of a contravention of Division 2 of Part 2. (2) If this Part is being applied in relation to an investigation of a contravention of Division 2 of Part 2: (a) subsection 35(1) has effect as if the words “within this jurisdiction” were omitted; and (b) subsection 37(10) has effect as if the words “a State or the Capital Territory” were substituted for the words “another jurisdiction”; and (c) section 81 has effect as if paragraph (a) were omitted; and (d) section 86 has effect as if the words “of this jurisdiction” were omitted; and (e) subsection 93(2) has effect as if the words “or of this or any other jurisdiction” were omitted. (3) If this Part is being applied in relation to an investigation of a contravention of Division 2 of Part 2, ignore any references in this Part to: (a) a corresponding law; and (b) a corresponding law of another jurisdiction.
