The APS respects all people, including their rights and their heritage
Having regard to an individual’s duties and responsibilities, upholding the APS Value in subsection 10(3) of the Act requires the following: (a) treating all people with dignity and recognising that all people have value; (b) dealing with all people honestly and with integrity; (c) recognising the importance of human rights and understanding Australia’s human rights obligations; (d) recognising and fostering diversity; (e) contributing to an inclusive workplace culture; (f) collaborating and being open to ideas in policy development, implementation, program management and regulation; (g) complying with all relevant anti‑discrimination laws.
