90ZCAustralia Post and employees not liable for actions in good faith under this Part

#### 90ZC Australia Post and employees not liable for actions in good faith under this Part (1) Neither Australia Post, nor an employee of Australia Post, is liable to an action or other proceeding for damages for or in relation to an act done or omitted to be done in good faith in the exercise or performance, or purported exercise or performance, of a power or duty under this Part. (2) For the avoidance of doubt, the reference in subsection (1) to an act done or omitted to be done in good faith in the exercise or performance, or the purported exercise or performance, of a power or duty under this Part includes a reference to an act done or omitted to be done in good faith by: (a) a customs officer in the exercise or performance, or the purported exercise or performance, of a power or duty under section 90P or 90S or of a duty under subsection 90V(2A); or (aa) a biosecurity official in the exercise, or the purported exercise, of a power under section 90P; or (ab) a person included in a class of persons determined in an instrument under subsection 90P(2) or 90Z(5) in the exercise or performance, or the purported exercise or performance, of a power or duty under section 90P or 90Z; or (b) a quarantine inspection officer in the exercise or performance, or the purported exercise or performance, of a power or duty under section 90U; or (c) a person acting on behalf of a consumer protection agency in the exercise or performance, or purported exercise or performance, of a power or duty under section 90UB or section 90UC or of a duty under subsection 90V(2B).
