#### 90P Examining without opening
(1) An employee of Australia Post, a customs officer, a biosecurity official or a person included in a class of persons determined in an instrument under subsection (2), may examine the article or its contents by any means that does not involve unfastening or physically interfering with the cover of the article. For example, the article or its contents may be examined by X‑ray, metal detector or odour detector.
(2) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, determine a class of persons for the purposes of subsection (1).
