59 Concurrent operation of State and Territory laws etc.
(1) This Act is not intended to exclude or limit the operation of a law of a State or Territory that is capable of operating concurrently with this Act. (2) This Act does not affect the operation of: (a) a law of a State or Territory; or (b) a rule of common law; to the extent that the law or rule requires the giving of consent to the removal of an organ or tissue from the body of an individual (whether living or deceased). (3) Subsection (2) does not limit subsection (1).
