45Delegation by Chief Executive Officer

#### 45 Delegation by Chief Executive Officer (1) The Chief Executive Officer may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by the Chief Executive Officer, delegate to an officer or employee all or any of the powers of the Chief Executive Officer under this Act other than this power of delegation. (2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Chief Executive Officer. (3) A delegate is, in the exercise of a power so delegated, subject to the directions of the Chief Executive Officer. (4) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power by the Chief Executive Officer.
