121A Offence for obstructing, hindering, intimidating or resisting a member of the Regulator, etc.

A person commits an offence of strict liability if the person obstructs, hinders, intimidates or resists any of the following in the performance of their functions or the exercise of their powers under this Act: (a) a member of the Regulator; (b) a person assisting an inspector.

Note: The offence of obstructing a Commonwealth public official may also apply (see section 149.1 of the Criminal Code).

Penalty: 60 penalty units.
