32 Chancellor
(1) The Council must appoint the Chancellor of the University. The appointee must not be a student or an employee of the University. (1A) The Chancellor ceases to hold office as Chancellor if he or she becomes a student or an employee of the University. (2) Subject to subsection (1A) and the Statutes, the Chancellor holds office for such period, and on such conditions, as the Council determines.
