##### 17 Annual audit reports to the Authority by States (1) Each State to which funds have been paid by the Authority in respect of a year must give the Authority a written statement by a qualified auditor: (a) specifying the amounts of those funds spent in respect of the year; and (b) certifying that the amounts so spent were spent for purposes for which they were allocated to the State by the Authority. (2) The statement must be given to the Authority not later than 30 September in the year following the relevant year.
