## 49 Chief Executive Officer (1) There is to be a Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, who is to be appointed by the Minister after receiving a recommendation from the Authority. (2) Subject to this Part, a person appointed as Chief Executive Officer holds office for the period, not exceeding 5 years, specified in the instrument of appointment, but is eligible for re‑appointment. (4) Anything done in the name of, or on behalf of, the Authority by the Chief Executive Officer is to be taken to have been done by the Authority.
