7 Members of Institute
(1) Subject to this Part, the members of the Institute are persons appointed by the Council as members. (2) The Council shall not appoint a person to be a member of the Institute unless: (a) the person has applied for membership of the Institute in accordance with the Institute rules; and (b) the person has a demonstrated interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage.
