24 Chief Executive Officer
(1) There shall be a Chief Executive Officer of the Institute who shall be appointed by the Council. (2) The Chief Executive Officer shall, subject to subsection (3), manage the day‑to‑day administration of the Institute. (3) The Chief Executive Officer shall, in managing the administration of the Institute and in exercising any powers conferred on the Chief Executive Officer by this Act, act in accordance with any policies determined, and any directions given, by the Council in writing.
