17 Leave of absence
(1) The Minister may grant a Councillor leave of absence from duty on such terms and conditions as to remuneration or otherwise as the Minister determines in writing. (2) The Minister may delegate, to the Council Chairperson, the power under subsection (1) to grant leave of absence to the other Councillors.
