14 Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of Council
(1) The Minister shall appoint a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson of the Council from among the Councillors. (2) The Councillor who is the Chairperson or the Deputy Chairperson of the Council ceases to be the Chairperson or the Deputy Chairperson of the Council, as the case may be, if he or she ceases to be a Councillor.
