##### 21 Co-opted Commissioners
(1) Subject to this section, the Commission may appoint a person to be a co-opted Commissioner for such period, not exceeding 12 months, as the Commission determines.
(2) A person appointed under subsection (1) may take part in the deliberations of the Commission, but has no power to vote.
(3) A person appointed under subsection (1):
(a) is to be regarded as a Commissioner for the purposes of section 14 of this Act and of sections 27F to 27L of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997; but
(b) is not to be regarded as a Commissioner for the purposes of any of the other provisions of this Act or of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997.
(4) Not more than 2 persons shall hold office as co-opted Commissioners at any one time.
