38 Road Safety Act 1986 not to apply
The Road Safety Act 1986 and regulations under that Act do not apply to or in relation to a vehicle or its driver while the vehicle is being driven—
(a) in a Formula One event; or
S. 38(b) amended by No. 39/2025 s. 9.
(b) with the approval of the Minister administering this Act, within the declared area in respect of a year during the race period in respect of that year (other than a public access area) for the purpose of providing services in respect of a Formula One event.
